Developed through extensive research and engineering, it combines state-of-the-art materials and construction techniques to create a turf product that excels in performance, durability, eco-friendliness, and low maintenance requirements. Its advanced design incorporates technologies like StatBlock™️ to reduce static charge, Super Drain™️ technology for superior drainage, and Delustred™️ Fibres for a natural look without unwanted sheen.

Commitment to Sustainability

SYNLawn UK’s latest manufacturing facility is carbon neutral and powered entirely by renewable energy. We utilize post-manufacturing recycled waste such as plastic bottles, and have eliminated single-use plastics from our processes. Our materials comply with EN 71-3, ensuring the safety of materials used in toys, and REACH Annex XVII entry 50 (PAH), regulating the presence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons to minimize environmental impact.

Incorporating PCR Materials

SYNLawn UK incorporates post-consumer recycled (PCR) waste, like recycled plastic bottles, into our turf backing layer. This approach allows us to reduce waste while enhancing the durability and stability of our artificial grass. We leverage PCR waste to help lower the consumption of new raw materials and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, supporting our broader sustainability goals.

From Manufacturing to Installation We take pride in manufacturing our products in ISO Certified facilities, ensuring operational excellence, product reliability, and ecological responsibility. Our products meet EN 15330-1, which specifies requirements for synthetic turf surfaces for sports, and DIN 18035-7, which focuses on synthetic turf areas in sports grounds.

Super Drain™ Technology

Available for select Super Yarn styles, our Super Drain technology provides provides optimal drainage throughout the lifespan of the turf product in all climates and weather conditions. With double the drainage capacity (up to 2.000 l/h/m²), Super Drain is EN 12616 tested for permeability, retains its dimensional stability, performs in all climates, and allows immediate use post-heavy rains.

FAQ

How much EnviroLoc+ backing is made each year?
More than one million square Metres of EnviroLoc™️ backing is produced by SYNLawn UK each year.
 
What percent of artificial grass is soy content?
Our exclusive EnviroLoc+ Backing Technology replaces up to 60% of traditional polyurethane with polyols from American grown soybeans. Overall, our USDA Certified turf products are certified as 19% for product alone and up to 80% when using renewable infill as part of the installation system.
 
Are there any PFAS or other harmful ingredients?
Absolutely not. SYNLawn UK takes great strides to ensure the safety of our artificial grass products. We continually use 3rd party testing to ensure we continue to produce “The Greenest Turf on Earth”.
 
How much water is used for outdoor irrigation?
It is estimated that homeowners use approximately 50-70% of their personal water consumption on the upkeep of their lawns. With water-free artificial grass, that need can be eliminated.
 
How long has SYNLawn UK worked with the USDA?
SYNLawn UK was the first artificial grass manufacturer to receive USDA Certification for our SYNAugustine 547 style in September 2020.
